The standard annual motor tax rate for a commercial is €333, but vehicles taxed like that cannot be used for any private reason whatsoever. It's not possible to just tax any SUV as a commercial, either, as there are rules defining what a commercial SUV is. Finally, you will need to have some documentation to show Revenue that the vehicle is indeed used for business purposes. This can take a variety of forms, depending on the nature of your work.
